Crap. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! overlap. One of the best programming conferences in the world vs. my one reasonable chance to go to a WEC race for the year.

I'm already booked for Strange Loop so it looks like I'm going to miss some racing. Yeah, I could leave St. Louis Friday night and fly to Austin for the race on Saturday but I actually prefer practice and qualifying days when you can get access to the garages and talk to drivers and engineers. It was always fun getting to bullshit with H down at Petit.

Maybe next year I'll email the WEC and request they schedule around Strange Loop.

I suggested to our marketing dept that we get a bunch of Lone Star Le Mans/COTA branded cowbells for the concert. I don't know if that's going to happen, but I think it would be hilarious.
